Acer will Launch its Android 4.0 Based Tablet Next Year!Not Leaving the Tablet Market!

A rumor was famous last month in the news regarding to Acer and other computer and tablet manufacturer that they will exit from the market due to the popularity of the iPad and also the of the Amazon’s kindle fire which is very famous in the market. The founder of the Acer Stan Shih declined that rumors and said that the company is still working to launch android 4.0 based tablet computers next year. He said the company will launch this new android tablet despite of its bad performance in the market.

He said that the company’s board of director are agreed to adopt the policy of Apple that one tablet PC per year and just to offer fewer models and to work more on their promotion and their quality. According to Acer they will cut down their products line 2/3 in 2012.

The founder of Acer MR. Stan Shih explained that:

“Considering the much overlapped development of tablet PC and Smartphones, a simplified organization is expected to increase operation efficiency, reduce conflicts in product development and consolidate resources for developing niche and competitive products.”

Shih also said that despite that will reduce their production but they will not lay down their employees. Google who is offering the latest android operating system named as ice cream sandwich and it is in the news that Acer will use this operating system in their new android based tablet PC’s. and also they will focus on the quality, more support to the latest applications and less fragmented.
